The Blue Voice settings allow for very detailed audio settings for streaming, podcasting and voiceover. This is why it was incorporated into the PRO X and PRO X Wireless. When Logitech acquired mic manufacturer Blue they did it with the intent to hopefully improve on what was already a good product but also give it more reach to the masses. So whether you’re watching an action flick or playing COD the G Hub gives you a wealth of options to tailor your sound to your specific style of play or whatever it is you want to hear most from your media. There’s so many ways that you can configure these headphones because they are so multi-faceted you may not even want to use the G-Hub but trust me, you WANT to use it with these headphones.Īside from your generic presets the PRO X Wireless gives you surround sound and isolation capability for these headphones. The G Hub I will admit can be a bit much because of how detailed it is and just how much configuration options that you have generally.

The G Hub once again is the go to for configuration with Logitech G devices and the PRO X’s take full advantage of it.

The new PRO X are using a powerful 50mm driver that gives you great clarity, great boom, comfort and solid noise reduction and cancellation that warrants its $199 price tag. Gaming and enjoying media on these headphones are just as good as their predecessor. Sound quality on the PRO X’s are top notch.

The wireless dongle will remain connected without any interference for up to 13m. If you’re consuming media you can watch whatever you want from distance because the wireless dongle that comes with the PRO X has incredible range which is why I’m glad Logi went this route as opposed to bluetooth. So while that 20+ claim is probably not totally accurate the battery life is very good and you’ll definitely have a lot of time to spare in between charges. I personally can’t say whether or not I got 20+ hours of total gametime play but I can tell you that I played games for multiple days for hours on end before I finally got the alert that it was time to charge my headphones. The PRO X fully charged according to Logitech gives you around 20+ hours of battery life. You can simply charge your headphones, lean back and game without restriction. This is the best part about the new PRO Xs. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.Īs far as what you get with the PRO X wireless, let’s just state the obvious first. Yes, there are some subtle changes but it’s mostly internal and for the most part the look and feel are pretty much the same as its predecessor. Logitech didn’t really change anything at all with these PRO X Wireless cans. It’s safe to say that I was HYPED!! DESIGN IS THE SAME BUT THE PRO X IS WIRELESS NOW Logitech hit me up recently and told me that the the PRO X was not only being refreshed for 2020 but now they’re wireless. I don’t particularly mind but I have so many pairs of gaming cans and having to deal with more cables can be a pain in the ass. The only thing that I could consider an issue was the fact that they weren’t wireless and that meant that I would have to deal with cables. Up until now I had no issues with the original PRO X. So what could Logitech come up with to trump the PRO X’s that already had great sound, great mic and solid build quality? The same pair but without all the wires possibly? Yup. At the time, those headphones were the only headphones to draw me away from all other gaming headphones. The original pair of the PRO Xs were incredible.

Logitech’s PRO X series headphones were the best of the gaming headphones that Logitech had available that really made you feel like you had a set of “Pro” headphones.
